Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the mechanism of influence of public institutions that shape people’s worldviews on the informational, economic and, accordingly, national security of the state, including the Union State of Belarus and Russia. The mechanism of the determining influence of ideological, value-semantic components of social consciousness on the results of socio-economic development is characterized. A conclusion is made about the need to highlight information and worldview (essentially ideological) security within the framework of the currently emerging Security Concept of the Union State of Belarus and Russia as an independent direction to ensure its national security.
